music moves me, heals me :)

Today, I spent a good 2 hours just surfin the music world and man is it a great place to be at.
Discovering those jems and fallin in love with the beat and melody, harmony of voices that give you chills. Thats poetry to me....

I kept thinking too, if only we had soundtracks to our lives playing always..that'd make life more simple in ways, would clarify our feelings perhaps, open up our hearts to more possibilities. Its so common for everyone to hide themselves, real feelings...its hard to find anyone real in this world full of people trying to prove themselves to others and show that they are who they see themselves as...its tough.

Like always, music has just offered a lil shelter for myself to pour out what i want and in the right form, but sometimes i forget its possible since i don't have my "happy" playlist playing 24/7 you know?
Have you ever noticed how sometimes you can picture exactly what a music video for a certain song should look like? Just feeling the sway of the words, the rhythm, imagening the colors, scenic routes taken to the big picture of the songs meaning...haha im gettin carried away.
I just wanna share my awesome finds though, some songs do not get the credit they need, since the rap and pop rule the charts.
I suppose thats what makes some songs more valuable, because not many have discovered the true value of the words and the feeling you get from the melody. It's a matter of opinion too of course.
Like something i heard from this speaker "we should never judge something that is important to others." I'm guilty, but im working on it.
Ah, and another thing many people miss out on is the many instruments of the world that are so cool....like this finger piano that is called- mbira. Coolest sounding thing ever, i had a chance to play one in my world music class.
Then there is also this instrument that was for example used in the Narnia movie by Mr. Tumnus, called -duduk. Ah..the most beautiful sound ive ever heard an instrument make.
Another one I've always wanted to learn to play is the -steel drums, which are like the jamaican drums basically made from tops of oil cans. Such a cool sound.
I actually had a chance to hear some live, at the farmer's market. My friend bought their CD. Copied it for me. Some of it is very repetitive but its still good stuff.

Anywho...check out the new songs on my playlist! I found some pretty good stuff.
Here's my fave song at the moment (:
